
Mercedes unveils the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class
The epitome of German luxury has arrived with the unveiling of the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. The new models grows in size with a seven inch longer wheelbase than the standard S-Class sedan and an all-new interior that goes big on luxury and the latest in in-car technology. A number of exterior refinements have been made to bring it up to Maybach spec with elements like the updated grille, wider rear doors, and a two-tone paint finish option with a hand-applied dividing line.
Power will come from a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, delivering 496 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque and it's also paired with a 48V EQ-Boost mild-hybrid that delivers an additional 21 hp and 184 lb-ft. The engine is paired with an AIRMATIC air suspension for enhanced comfort and an all-wheel-drive system comes standard for optimal traction on any road surface. Other notable features include an array of displays at the front and rear, all of which are powered by the latest MBUX infotainment system, a specially tuned cabin that greatly reduces noise while improving the acoustics for the Burmester 4D Surround Sound system, and upgraded safety systems.
