Though it'll be sometime before we see our roads completely filled with autonomous vehicles, ridesharing behemoth Uber hopes to accelerate that transition with the launch of its first autonomous cars in America. The company has teamed up with Volvo, who will be providing special XC90s to the company. Uber will be adding its own in-house self-driving technologies to each car and according to Bloomberg Businessweek, the cars will begin driving as soon as this month.
