Syng aims to change home audio with the Cell Alpha smart speaker
The designers behind the HomePod have been quietly working on a new speaker that uses spatial audio technology to fill your home with an immersive listening experience. The company's first product is a speaker called Cell Alpha, an orb-like design that packs two woofers, three pairs of tweeters and mid-frequency drivers, and three microphones that can tune the speaker based on the acoustics of the room. Cell Alpha can be linked with additional speakers and connecting three of them is said to be able to mimic a 7.1 channel system.
Available Spring 2021.
