Sony unveils the world's first smartphone that features a 1" sensor with phase detection autofocus
The sensor is the same used in the RX100 VII camera.
Sony has taken the sensor from the acclaimed RX100 camera and optimized it for the all-new Xperia Pro-I. The smartphone will be the first to feature a 1.0" sensor with phase detection autofocus. This system features 315 phase-detection AF points to cover 90% of the frame, real-time eye autofocus, real-time tracking, and Zeiss Tessar Optics with a dual f2.0/f4.0 aperture. The phone also features 4K video recording at 120fps, a 4K HDR OLED 120Hz display, and Gorilla Glass Victus.
