Sony just unveiled its new flagship smartphone with the debut of the Xperia 1 II, which is their first 5G model. Debuting with Sub-6 GHz network support, the phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 5GB Mobile Platform and features a 6.5" 4K HDR OLED 21:9 display, a 12MP triple camera system with ZEISS optics, a larger 1/1.7" sensor, 20 fps continuous burst shooting, and a 3D iToF sensor for faster, more accurate autofocus. It also works seamlessly with Sony's Alpha range of cameras and it features a professional-grade shooting experience that can shoot video in 21:9, 4K HDR, and 24 fps.
When it comes to media consumption, Sony kept both video and audiophiles in mind with a display that offers motion blur reduction technology, professional-level color reproduction, hi-res audio support, and a specially tuned 3.5mm audio jack that was designed with improved audio separation and reduced signal noise. Other features include a 4,000mAh battery with high-speed wired and wireless charging, IP65/68 water resistance, Dolby Atmos support, PlayStation DualShock 4 compatibility, and Dual Sim capability.
