Looks like today is a big day for gadgets as Sony is joining Apple's announcements with a big introduction of its own, the PS4 Pro ($399) and the PS4 Slim. The PS4 Pro isn't exactly a next-generation console, think of it more as a PlayStation 4 on steroids. The new model will have support for 4K, better frame rates, and HDR.

New and existing games will have Pro support so expect titles like Uncharted 4 and the latest Call of Duty to feature those higher resolutions. It will also have support for Netflix in 4K and Youtube will also introduce a 4K-enabled app in the near future. They will also be introducing a new standard PS4 in a slim new housing and a lower price point $299 price point.
