Sony takes on Canon and Nikon with their new A99 II
The electronics giant hasn't forgotten about its DSLR business.
With all the focus on their A7 lineup, you might think Sony is done with DSLRs. Not quite. The company is introducing a new version of its flagship A99 and it aims to best its rivals with big leaps in speed and performance. The A99 II targets pro-shooters with a 42.4 megapixel, full-frame sensor that is more than enough to capture every single little detail. The camera has 399 autofocus points and an additional 72 focus points and with a burst shot speed of 12 fps, you'll always nail that shot.
