Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip gets a new 5G version

The folding smartphone gets a big boost in cellular connectivity speeds.

Samsung introduces a new version of its folding flip phone with a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip. The phone is the first model in the Galaxy lineup to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G Mobile Platform for improved performance and high-speed connectivity. When it comes to specs, the phone features a 6.7" FHD+ AMOLED display with 2636x1080 resolution and 425ppi of pixel density, a 1.1" AMOLED cover display, a 10MP and 12MP front-facing camera, a 12MP rear camera, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 3,300mAh battery, and fingerprint sensor and face recognition authentication. 

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in select markers on August 7th.
