Ricoh announces the release of its new GR III

The camera will hit retailers next month.

Previewed last year, Ricoh announces the release of the latest addition its cult-favorite GR line, the GR III. The new camera will boast even more resolution with a 24.23MP APS-C sensor with 14bit RAW DNG, higher than the 12bit in the GRII. It will feature the new GR Engine 6 to help improve image quality, the wide-angle 18.3mm f2.8 lens, USB-C, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 3" touchscreen LCD. Other features include 3-axis image stabilization, high-speed Hybrid AF, 0.8 second startup time, a lightweight body, and an optional Wide Conversion lens attachment ($249). 

Available this March.
