When RED announced plans for their first 4K camera, many in the industry were in disbelief that such a company with little to no history in the business could pull off such a feat. Since 2007, the company has become a go to favorite for Hollywood's biggest studios and rattle off any recent blockbuster and it's highly likely that it was shot on one of their cameras.

Today, the company is announcing the latest moviemaking machine, the Red Weapon with an 8K Dragon sensor. Yes, that's an incredible 8192 x 4320 resolution full-frame sensor that is capable of 60 fps inside a forged carbon body. Need we say more?
