Qualcomm is taking Intel and AMD head on with a brand new Snapdragon processor that is capable of powering a Windows 10 PC. One of the biggest features of the Snapdragon 850 Mobile Compute Platform will be its battery life. Qualcomm is aiming for around 25 hours of use or even multi-day battery life under normal usage. The company has yet to show off any real hardware as of yet, but they have announced a partnership with Samsung and hope to have Snapdragon 850 laptops ready by the end of this year.
