The Leica M has some new competition and it's probably not from who you would expect. Photography startup Pixii has released a new full-frame rangefinder with a 24.5MP sensor, a Leica-M compatible lens mount, and the power of a 64-bit quad-core ARM processor. Housed in a dual-block machined aluminum body, the camera comes in space gray or matte black and also features a wide-angle optical viewfinder with a rangefinder, a native monochrome mode, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB onboard storage options.

Pre-orders open on July 5th.
