Panasonic expands its full-frame mirrorless lineup with the LUMIX S5

Designed to be the entry-level model in their full-frame mirrorless lineup, Panasonic announces the LUMIX S5, a capable photo/video hybrid with a 24.2MP sensor. The versatile camera boasts over 14 stops of dynamic range and ISO sensitivity up to 51,200. On the video side, the camera can shoot 4K 10-bit video and is complemented by an array of shooting modes coupled with high-speed auto-focus with deep-learning technology. The camera also features 5-axis in-body image stabilization, a 96-megapixel high-resolution mode, a new 2,220mAh high-capacity battery with enough power to shoot up to 470 images, USB-C charging, 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, and support for the L-Mount system.
