Though VR has risen in popularity, we've yet to see a headset that can do it all without the need of a smartphone or PC and offer a high-quality experience at a reasonable price. Oculus might have the answer today as the company releases the Oculus Go, a $199 VR headset that is completely untethered, doesn't need a PC, and you don't have to slip your smartphone into the headset. All your VR apps are configured and downloaded via the Oculus App on your iOS or Android smartphone and you're good to go. The headset features spatial audio built-in, an integrated microphone, a 538ppi 2560 x 1440 WQHD fast-switch LCD display, and 32-64GB of storage.
