Nvidia is once again pushing the envelope in graphics performance with the all-new GTX 1080, their most advanced GPU to date. With all the focus and development in VR, the company needed to create a beast of a chipset, a card that not only could handle the demands of VR, but also 4K. The GTX 1080 is twice as powerful as last year's Titan X and also marks the debut of their new Pascal Architecture. 

Pascal Architecture delivers a big boost in performance and increases memory bandwidth while using less power. Lowering its demands in power consumption allows for higher clock speeds, which is exactly what you'll want for all your VR gaming needs. The GTX 1080 will feature 8GB of GDDR5X memory with a speed of 10 Gbps, 1733 MHz Boost Clock speed, and a maximum resolution of 7680x4320 @ 60Hz.
