Nintendo reveals the Switch Lite

The company's popular console becomes a dedicated handheld.

Nintendo is following up the massive success of the Switch with a fully handheld version called the Switch Lite. The Switch Lite shrinks down into a more compact design with a 5.5" touchscreen display, integrated controllers, and a battery life of 3-7 hours. Unfortunately, even though it carries the Switch branding, the device gets is handheld only. This means it's only compatible with games that have "handheld only" functionality and it can't be used with a TV or in tabletop mode for local multiplayer.
