Meta's flagship VR headset has arrived with the launch of the Quest Pro. The headset is the first device on the market to use Qualcomm's new Snapdragon XR2+ platform which brings 50% more power when compared to the Quest 2. It also packs 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and 10 high-res sensors. When it comes to optics, the headset replaces the Fresnel lenses with thin pancake optics that help slim down the depth of the optical module while the LCDs implement local dimming and quantum dot technology for crisper visuals and enhanced colors and contrast. Resolution and sharpness get a big boost and there's a new set of controllers that have three built-in sensors in each controller to track their individual positions in 3D space.
