The LG Wing brings a new form factor to smartphones
Smartphone manufacturers have recently gone to great lengths to create innovative form factors that go beyond the single screen experience we've all become so used to. The latest is a swiveling smartphone called the LG Wing, which features a 6.8" OLED display that rotates into landscape mode to reveal a 3.9" Second Screen. This would allow users to view content uninterrupted while simultaneously using the other display for media controls, answer a text, or use another app. When it comes to specs, the phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G connectivity, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, microSD expansion up to 1TB, a 64MP camera with a 13MP Ultra Wide and a 12MP Ultra Wide Big Pixel, a 32MP front camera, and a 32MP front camera. It also features a Gimbal Motion Camera that lets you grip the second screen, enabling smoother video capture while also giving you access to controls like a joystick and various shooting modes.
The LG Wing will first be available in South Korea in October with North America and Europe to follow after.
