LG takes smartphone photography up a notch with a phone that features five cameras

The rear camera will feature a wide-angle, standard, and telephoto lens.

LG V40 ThinQ

LG just announced the V40 ThinQ, their latest flagship smartphone. The phone's killer app will be a trio of cameras that include a 16MP super wide-angle, a 12MP standard angle, and a 12MP telephoto. You also get a 5MP and an 8MP set of front cameras and the sensors in the main rear cameras feature larger sensors as well as a faster Dual PDAF autofocus system. 

Other specs include a Snapdragon 845 processor, a 6.4" OLED 3120 x 1440 / 538ppi display, 3,300mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, far field voice recognition, IP68 water and dust resistance, wireless charging, and Quick Charge 3.0 technology for rapid charging via USB-C.
