The world's first 8K OLED TV is here with the launch of the LG Signature OLED 8K TV. The 88-inch monster has a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320, which is 4x as many pixels as a 4K TV. The bezel-less display will sit on top of a brushed aluminum stand that doubles as an 80W speaker system and also features 8K upscaling and noise reduction, a second-generation Alpha 9 Gen 2 8K intelligent processor that can use deep learning to optimize sound and picture quality, audio upscaling to virtual 5.1 surround sound, Cinema HDR support, AirPlay 2 and HomeKit compatibility, and support for the HDMI 2.1 standard.

The LG Signature OLED 8K TV will first be available in Australia, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States
