LG has unveiled the latest in LCD TV technology with the introduction of its first QNED Mini LED TVs. Not to be confused with Micro LED tech, these new sets utilize LG's quantum dot and NanoCell technologies combined with Mini LED backlighting. All of this helps to enhance color accuracy, contrast, and it also allows for deeper blacks. This is achieved via an array of 30,000 small LEDs to help greatly increase brightness and delivers a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. This also means an improvement in HDR quality and a wide color gamut.

The company plans to launch 10 new 4K and 8K QNED models in 2021 with display sizes that go up to 86 inches.
