LG is doing something very interesting with their new flagship G5 smartphone. The model will be the first modular smartphone to hit the market using a slide-out design for additional accessories. The phone will launch with interchangeable batteries, a Bang & Olufsen Hi-Fi DAC, and a CAM Plus module that enhances the camera functionality to make it more like a traditional point and shoot.
When it comes to power, the G5 is no slouch. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also touts a 5.3" 554 PPI, Quad HD IPS display, a 16MP camera with a 135-degree wide angle lens, 8MP front camera, 2,800mAh removable battery, aptX HD for 24-bit audio streaming, microSD expansion, USB Type-C charging, and the latest Android's latest OS, 6.0 Marshmallow.
