LG is making some big improvements to its soundbar line with new features from audio specialists Meridian and the integration of Google Assistant. Meridian will be implementing its Bass & Space technology to create a more immersive soundstage and Meridian Upmix that can up-mix two-channel audio into multiple channels without distortion. Other features include the addition of DTS:X support alongside Dolby Atmos and an integrated gyroscope that can automatically detect the position of the speaker so it can optimize the speaker's directionality.

Three models will be available and an optional wireless speaker will also be available. No word on pricing or a release date at this time.
