Leica got a lot of attention a couple years back when they announced the re-release of the ultra-compact Summaron-M 28mm. Collectors and fans of the lens who hoped for a black version can now try to find one on the Japanese market. Leica Japan has released the lens in a matte black finish and remains true to the original design with its shorter length and the original lens hood, which is also finished in matte black.
