Klipsch celebrates 75 years of Capitol Records with a special edition Heresy III loudspeaker
To celebrate 75 years of Capitol Records, Klipsch is putting together a series of speakers to honor the storied history of one of the most famous records labels in the world. The crown jewel of the collection is a special edition of the Heresy III, which is a compact, three-way loudspeaker that was originally introduced in 1957.
The speaker has a 1” titanium diaphragm compression driver to handle the high frequencies, a 1.75” titanium diaphragm compression driver for the mids, and a 12” fiber-composite cone woofer for the lows. Each speaker is made from a book-matched wood veneer and each pair is grain-matched.
