One of the biggest questions about the Apple Watch is how exactly will it affect the traditional watch market. At the moment it's still too soon to see whether or not the Apple Watch has affected the horological landscape, but some watchmakers have been making some moves in the space to stay relevant in an age where everything is becoming connected.

IWC is the latest brand to introduce smartwatch-style functionality with what they are calling "IWC Connect", a secondary screen that will be located on the strap of the watch. IWC has only offered a small hint of what's to come and currently we only know that it will offer activity tracking and ways to control your devices.

No word yet on when IWC Connect will be available, but the company has said it will launch in their Big Pilot collection of watches.
