With features like AR and edge-to-edge display of the iPhone X, you're gonna need all the power you can get to enjoy your new phone. Thankfully, Apple has upgraded the way you charge to get your iPhones charged faster and without wires.
Now that Apple has finally joined the wireless charging party, you're going to need a couple of charging mats so you'll never have to plug in a cable ever again. Unfortunately Apple's AirPower mat won't be coming till next year, but until then, Apple has worked with companies like Mophie to release their own solutions like the Wireless Base ($59), which charges phones at speeds up to 7.5 watts. And you can bet that wireless charging is about to finally become ubiquitous.
For the real power users out there, Apple is bringing fast charging to the new phones, but you'll need a USB-C to Lightning cable ($25) and a USB-C Power Delivery brick to go 0-50% in 30 minutes. Apple's got their own 29W charger ($49), but we also like these options from Native Union (available later this month) and Anker ($25).
One thing that we haven't heard talked about much is that you'll be able to charge your new iPhone with a wireless battery. No more lugging cables around, you can keep an extra battery around like Mophie's charge force powerstation ($99), which will give you an extra couple days of battery life.
