The next generation of music players won't rely on local storage to hold your library, companies like Google and Apple are embracing the cloud for playback of your entire collection from any device with a connection to the internet. Today Google launches their service, Google Music, which allows you to upload your library and play your songs from any computer or Android device. The service works just like any jukebox app you've ever played with, but with the convenience of ubiquity. Once you've uploaded your music you can start streaming instantly and even select music for playback when you're not connected. Simple as that. Link
