Though many companies have attempted to take game streaming mainstream, it still hasn't caught on with the majority of the gaming audience. Google hopes to change that later this year with the debut of the Stadia gaming platform. Using high-performance server hardware in combination with Google's data center infrastructure, Stadia will definitely have the resources to deliver a quality game streaming service, which you'll be able to access through Chromecast devices, ChromeOS devices, and PCs via the Chrome browser. Google also designed a Wi-Fi enabled controller that taps directly into their data center to optimize performance and it features a Google Assistant button and a built-in microphone.

Stadia launches later this year in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.
