Google reveals Android 12
The new OS gets a full redesign and upgrades and enhanced personalization features.
Google revealed its latest update to the Android operating system with its biggest UI overhaul to date. Focusing on personalization, Android 12 allows for more customization with custom color palettes, upgraded widgets, and smoother animations. There's even a feature called color extraction that can create a color theme across the entire OS based on your wallpaper choice. Notifications have also been streamlined, bringing easier access to essential features like Google Pay and Home Controls and a new Privacy Dashboard gives you a view of all your permissions settings and information on what data is being accessed all in one place.
Android 12 is now available in Beta.
