The camera that put Fujifilm back on the map is getting a major update with a brand new engine that overhauls the much-criticized autofocus system with improved accuracy and speed in the new X100S. Powered by a 16.3 Megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor and the EXR Processor II, the X100S claims an AF time of just .08 seconds, a startup time of .05 seconds, and a shutter lag of .01 seconds. That speed is complemented by a "Digital Split Image" that lets you line up the left and right image for accurate manual focusing and they've also added Focus Peaking to help you get the perfect shot. Other features include an updated 2.36 EVF in the Hybrid Viewfinder, 6 fps burst rate, 60/30fps HD video, and of course, the 23mm F/2 lens that made the original an instant hit. $TBD, Fujifilm
