DJI introduces the first 4-axis cinema camera with the Ronin 4D
DJI wants to take filmmaking to the next level with the world's first 4-axis cinema camera. The Ronin 4D is built around Zenmuse's full-frame X9 gimbal camera, which features a 4-axis stabilization system, a LiDAR focusing system, and comes in 8K and 6K versions. The camera can also transmit 1080p/60fps video to remote monitors at a range of almost 20,000 feet, supporting one transmitter with multiple receivers that can remotely control the gimbal, focusing settings, and camera settings. Additional features include ProRes and ProRes RAW support, over 14 stops of dynamic range, nine integrated ND filters, and up to 2.5 hours of shooting time with the TB50 Intelligent Battery.
