Canon has got a big new release for you budding directors out there. They've just announced a compact, 4K video camera called the XC10. The XC10 will feature a 1" 12 megapixel sensor that can shoot full, cinema-grade Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) to a CFast or SD memory card. 

The camera features a fixed 10x optical zoom lens with built-in image stabilization and boasts a tilting, touch-enabled LCD display and includes an optical viewfinder loupe attachment. It can also perform well in low-light situations with an option to bump up the ISO to 20,000 and has a wide 12-stop dynamic range.
