Canon announces development of the EOS R3
Canon's full-frame mirrorless line is getting a new high-performance flagship with the upcoming EOS R3. The camera will be their first model to feature a full-frame, back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor for faster read-out speeds while also greatly reducing the rolling shutter effect. The camera will also feature an electronic shutter with continuous shooting speeds of up to 30 fps with full AF, improved AF performance, Eye Control AF, and a new body design with an integrated vertical grip and the same level of dust and weather resistance you would find in their EOS-1D cameras.
Canon has not announced pricing and a release date at this time.
