Almost 30 years later, Braun's influential audio products are set to make a comeback this year as the company announces the return of its coveted LE speaker range. In 1956, Dieter Rams and Braun launched their audio category with the SK-4 Hi-Fi turntable system, which grew into a full collection of audio products that were praised for their innovation and design. Developed in collaboration with Pure, the new LE speaker range will be revealed this fall at the IFA conference in Berlin. Not much has been said about the new range other than it will be a reinvention of the original Dieter Rams designs that will "encapsulate the enduring, essentialist design values of their origins and built to stand the test of time."
The designs will be based on the LE speakers from 1959.
