Bang & Olufsen reveals their first soundbar, the Beosound Stage

The speaker delivers 550W of room-filling sound.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage

Believe it or not, Bang & Olufsen has never released its own soundbar and while they're late to the game, it looks like they've made up for the lost time with the Beosound Stage. Designed for TV and music, the speaker packs a 3 channel sound system that is backed by 11 amplifiers and speaker drivers that produces 550 watts of power. It will also feature support for streaming technologies such as Chromecast, AirPlay 2, and Blueooth and you have support for Dolby Atmos surround sound. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper B&O piece without their celebrated design aesthetic, which wraps the speaker in a wood or aluminum housing with a front cover that can be fitted with fabric from Kvadrat.
