August introduces its new Wi-Fi Smart Lock

August has streamlined its smart lock technology into a new and more compact design called the Wi-Fi Smart Lock. The new device is 45% smaller and 20% slimmer than the Smart Lock Pro and it now works right out of the box as it now has integrated Wi-Fi so you won't have to pair it with an additional August Connect bridge. Just like the previous model, the lock using your existing deadbolt and once installed, the lock can be remotely opened and locked wirelessly and it can alert users when the door is opened through the August app.
