Audio-Technica is debuting its first in-ear headphone with Pure Digital Drive, a chipset that replaces the usual D/A converter and amplifier to keep the audio signal 100% digital from the source to the driver, allowing for the type of sound quality that tends to get lost in a wireless headphone. The headphones feature Dual-Phase Push-Pull D/A 9.8mm and 8.8mm drivers and support aptX HD, aptX, and AAC codecs at up to 24-bit/48kHz and battery life is rated at 8 hours per charge.
