Audio-Technica creates a wireless headphone for the Hi-Fi aficionado

Though wireless headphones are all the rage right now, audiophiles have been waiting for companies to solve the quality limitations of streaming technology. Audio-Technica aims to solve this with their new ATH-DSR9BT,a wireless Bluetooth headphone that supports the 24-bit/48kHz Qualcomm aptX HD codec. The heapdhones are powered by 45mm drivers that contain a DLC-coated diaphragm to help enhance sound quality and produce a wide 5 Hz – 45,000 Hz frequency response. Battery life is rated at about 15 hours and has 1,000 hours of standby time.
