Much like the MacBook Air did when it debuted, Apple's 12" MacBook made a lot of noise for its ultrathin form factor and its stunning Retina display. While it was celebrated for its lightweight design, many complained about its underpowered processors and its single USB-C port. Though the single USB-C port remains, Apple has updated it with Intel's latest Core M processors that are available in speeds up to 1.3 GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz.

It also gets equipped with faster 1866 MHz memory and a more powerful Intel HD Graphics 515 chipset. Flash storage has also been updated with faster speeds and battery life has been improved for a total of 10 hours of web browsing on a single charge. They've also added their popular Rose Gold colorway to the lineup, which will join the existing Silver, Space Grey, and Gold aluminum options.
