Apple TV has made it easier for viewing all your favorite content through their designated apps, but it can be a bit annoying going in and out of apps to get to your movies and tv shows. This December, Apple plans to change all that with their TV app, a new guide that will be available on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad, bringing together all your shows and movies in one easy to navigate interface.

All the shows you're currently watching from each of your respective apps (except Netflix) are all collected and assembled for instant viewing and you have options like "Recommened" for curated content by Apple's own editors. You'll also find a store feature for quickly adding other video apps and you've got a Library feature for organizing all your purchased and rented iTunes content. Look for the TV app later this December.
