Apple announces the AirPods Max
Apple's headphone lineup adds its latest model with the announcement of the AirPods Max. The new wireless over-the-ear model is designed for high-fidelity sound in a design that features noise-cancellation and an immersive listening experience in their most sophisticated headphone to date. Finished in anodized aluminum, the earcups feature a mechanism that allows each cup to rotate independently for a better fit and acoustically engineered memory foam cushions keep everything sealed and comfortable for extended listening sessions.
Inside each cup is an Apple-designed dynamic driver that delivers a wide frequency response and that's paired with an Adaptive EQ system that adjusts the sound based on the fit and seal of the ear cushions. The headphones also feature 20 hours of battery life, built-in gyroscopes and accelerometers that enables spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and the same easy and instant connectivity experience that the AirPods lineup is known for.
AirPods Max is now available for pre-order and will hit doorsteps on December 15th.
