Apple reveals the 3rd generation AirPods, new HomePod mini colors, and a new Apple Music tier
The new AirPods get support for spatial audio while Apple Music gets even more affordable.

Apple made a trio of audio announcements today with the biggest news coming from the 3rd generation AirPods. The AirPods ($179) have an all-new design with shorter stems, Apple-designed dynamic drivers, Adaptive EQ, HD voice quality for FaceTime, force sensor controls, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, and up to six hours of battery life (30 hours total with the included wireless charging case). The company also introduced three new colorways for the HomePod mini ($99) and a new and affordable Apple Music tier at $4.99 that gives you access to the entire catalog via Siri.
