AMD launches its latest Intel-killer, the Ryzen 5000 Series
The new processors are built on the company's next-gen Zen 3 architecture.
Designed for gamers and content creators, AMD's new Ryzen 5000 Series processors have up to 16 cores and are said to have the highest single-thread performance of any desktop gaming processor and the highest multi-core performance of any desktop processor in a mainstream CPU socket. The Zen 3 architecture helps cut down latency, increases 1080p gaming performance by 26% across select titles, and has more than double the performance-per-watt than the competition.
The new 500 Series Desktop processors will be available on November 5th.
