Thinkpad X1 2017

The ThinkPad might not be wearing an IBM these days, but that doesn't mean Lenovo hasn't been pushing the envelope with its ultraportable flagship. The new X1 Carbon gets even lighter weighing 2.51 lbs and with some engineering magic, the computer loses 8% of its heft putting a 14" screen in a computer the size of a 13" laptop.

That 14" screen is also now available with a high-res QHD display and a standard 1080p HD screen. The computer was also built to be virtually everything-proof with resistance against impact, spills, dust, and more. As for ports and connectivity? The new X1 will have 2 Thunderbolt 3/USB C ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, RJ45, WiGig, microSD, and a MicroSIM slot for 4G connectivity.
