Google introduces the 2015 Chromebook Pixel

Now that Apple has had all the fun debuting their new MacBook, their competition down the street hopes to get as much attention with their impressive new notebook, Google's new Chromebook Pixel. Just like the previous generation, the new Chromebook Pixel touts a high-resolution screen and a lightweight aluminum chassis.

The computer comes in at 3.3lbs and features a 5th generation intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 8 or 16GB of memory, 32 or 64GB of flash storage, 802.11ac wireless, up to 12 hours of battery life, and a 12.85" screen with a 2560 x 1700, 239 PPI resolution screen. They're also adopting the new USB-C standard for both high-speed charging and data to keep things streamlined and light.
