One of the most important watches in watchmaking history is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and its original version is being reborn with the El Primero A384 Revival. Considered by many to be one of the first chronographs with an automatic movement, the El Primero A384 Revival pays tribute to the original with a faithful recreation of that very watch. The original model was scanned and digitized to accurately recreate the exact dimensions and silhouette. These original specs included a 37mm cushion case, panda dial, brushed surface finishing, and polished bevels. The one modern detail is the updated movement, which is an El Primero 400 with a 50-hour power reserve.
Available this October on an alligator leather strap or steel bracelet.
