Zenith's new Defy is the first watch to feature a violet movement
Purple isn't a color you typically see in high-end watchmaking but Zenith plans to change that with an industry-first. The new Defy Ultraviolet 21 features an El Primero chronograph movement finished in violet. The vibrant hue can be seen through the watch's open dial, which features grey subregisters, a grey flange ring, and a 44mm case made out of matte sandblasted titanium. Additional details include a 50-hour power reserve, 10 ATM water resistance, and rhodium-plated markers and hands with Super-Luminova SLN C1 coating.
Available this August.
