wings+horns Polartec FW17

When you think of Polartec, you probably imagine technical outerwear that's built for alpine expeditions and not minimalist, contemporary menswear. wings+horns is taking that material and bringing it to a Fall collection of sweaters and outerwear. Styles like the Schoeller Storm Parka and Alpha Bomber (above) use Alpha 120 insulation, a material that was originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces and is the flagship insulation of the Polartec lineup. Other styles use Thermal Pro, which is a breathable fleece and Polartec 300, a warm shearling that is naturally water-resistant and dries quickly.
