wings+horns pays homage to its Japanese and Canadian roots
Anyone who cares about the quality of their garments knows that Made in Canada and Made in Japan are as good as it gets. wings+horns has always been proud of its work in both countries and now they're highlighting that history with their Kyoto Black Collection. The four pieces will consist of two Canadian-made sportswear pieces and two pieces of Japanese-made denim, all of which are hand-dyed in Japan by Kyoto Montsuki Co. Kyoto Montsuki Co. is a fourth-generation family business who have specialized in one thing since 1915: dyeing Montsuki, a type of Japanese formal wear. The process requires large amounts of dye to achieve that black finish, a finish that is regarded as one of the best in the world.
